Sukhalay is spread across a land parcel of about 40,000 sqft. Here the morning sun wakes up the elders with the fragrance of flowers, freshness of the morning dew and the chirping of the birds.

The elders residing in Sukhalay are always able to smile and experience happiness in their own ways. Sukhalay has always welcomed the elders of our society with a warm embrace.

The salubrious climate of Gadag helps the elders to acclimatize quickly and the peaceful surroundings of Sukhalay help in creating a calming atmosphere for the elders living there.

The management committee are willing to walk that extra mile and have left no stone unturned in their bid to bring smiles on the face of the elders that live in Sukhalay.

Prayer Hall

A peaceful and well ventilated circular prayer hall of 900sqft is built to perform Pujas and other rituals. Some of the elders voluntarily maintain the decorum of the Prayer hall

Kitchen

A well stocked kitchen and a spacious dining hall of 1485 sqft serves up fresh, delicious jain meals to the elders. Desserts are provided on Sundays and on days when food is sponsored by a donor.

TV room

A Television is provided to make sure that the entertainment aspect is not lost for the elders of Sukhalay. A satellite connection is also provided to the Television set
 

Double occupancy rooms

Twenty four double occupancy rooms are available. The rooms have toilets and bathrooms attached. Each room has a fan and lighting equipment fitted. Mosquito nets are attached to the windows

A Unique Facility

To keep the residents in good humour and give them nostalgic feelings of their past and enjoy the celebrations, one part of the resort is used for, once in a while, organising Wedding receptions and Birthday parties of the local population of Gadag. It has proved to be a great hit as the residents mingle with children and elders, enjoy food and spend happy times.
